well! so i was out of town for a couple weeks and i returned to the garden to a bit of a surprise.

some animal has been mauling the banana 🍌 tree 🌳. this is to my dismay and i wonder why this is. it was repotted, maybe that weakened the plant's defenses and is now vulnerable to attack? it appears the banana tree will only be able to withstand one or two more attacks before it is destroyed. pray for the banana tree 🙏.

the strawberries 🍓 are bummed out and one of them is dead ☠️. this is unfortunate because i had a feeling they were not getting enough sun 🌞. the other flowers that were added to their spot in that little fence appear to be absorbing most of the light that does get back to that area.

the south side of the garden seems to be doing alright. the wildflower has bloomed, and there are two tomatoes 🍅 growing on the tomato plant.

i brought a potted goji berry outside and it is surviving! may it be the large quartz crystal that lives in its pot? i am happy it is alive after the two weeks away. it is about 3 years old.

the north part of the garden has a jalapeño plant which is producing. it seems to be threatening the compass plant which it is next to, so i propped it up with a stick to keep it from crowding the compass plant.

the compass plant might be establishing a very strong root system that i can not see, instead of growing more leaves. this i hope. situated on the edge of the planter is a piece of orgonite.

that is the update for now friends!

thank you. i had to report the status of my garden even though i have not solved it's problems yet

Goji berries are as tough as nails. Many times I've thought ours have died, only for them to spring back and surprise me!

Yeah! i thought that, when it survived winter sitting near a north-facing window last year without any direct sunlight! i thought for sure it would die... i want to transplant it into the ground but i dont know if it will survive minnesota winter...

just the phrase 'minnesota winter' gives me a chill 😨

hahahaha i know!...
