Welcome to My Digital Sketchbook Journal: Whimsy On The Fly. In this blog post series, I invite you to explore my digital sketchbook, which is much like a spontaneous adventure, I thrive on capturing the essence of whatever strikes my fancy in the moment. These are quick sketches, born from whimsy on the fly so you get the idea. As the series of my digital sketchbook unfolds, you'll find no grand plans really or intricate designs but maybe something unexpected and random. It's about my inspiration striking swiftly, where I embrace the playful side of creativity.
Coffee Cat
For those who love coffee and or cats this is for you. Some cat lady approaching her senior years in deep contemplative mood. That pretty sums up the idea for this sketchbook art. I can see her having a nice quiet time with her pet. She wears a nice outfit from her long forgotten vault maybe reliving the memories of her beautiful days. Hope this one gives you something to ponder upon. What about you guys what do you see in this image?
This third sketchbook art in this series is inspired by a real cat lady that I know but her clothes are not as fancy. Speaking of which, the head wrap is an after thought I don't know if that is what you call this thing that I randomly put on her head. I am glad I decided to add it because it inspired the whole outfit and the overall look of the cat lady. The second drawing that I previously posted for this series snacking walker in blue is my benchmark for future art. That would entail adding more details to my drawings as much as time and creativity will allow me. I enjoyed drawing the cute shoes and the details on her coffee table 😆. Hope you like it.
