Welcome to 365 Draw A Day Drawing Challenge. A drawing challenge that aims to enjoin participants to create on a regular basis and thus help improve their skills. Today, my drawing is
Excited To Walk
This little dog could not contain his excitement the moment he got dressed. He wanted to do a light exercise on a regular basis and walking is one of the options he has. Easy to do with minimal effort but very relaxing for his busy mind.
Here is how I made my drawing today
I want to draw that kind of dog with long ears and a long body but with small legs
Here I am already choosing the color for the dog so I can better figure if this will work right or not.
See, I was able to add the eyes and the ears because I got the color base right. Look how excited those eyes are.
Working on the other pair of the ear was easy as I only had to copy the other one. Then I rotated it and pushed it back so it won't cover the face of the dog.
I chose yellow and green at this stage of the drawing because these colors are so vibrant and uplifting. The dog will be walking outside and I think he needs these colors to motivate him even more.
The shoes are easier to make. I made just one piece and copied pasted it to make four.
And so I changed my mind and chose this shade of pink and orange for the clothes of the dog. Last detail I added is the tail. Hope you like it.
This challenge as you can tell requires a ton of commitment as it literally involves creating one drawing for a whole year. Never fret if you miss a day or two just try to catch up or start on a day that you can. What matters most is you have fun with no pressure creating.
