Picking The Perfect Produce
This is actually my entry to the Draw This In You Style Challenge of @cabalen. She provided a reference drawing which she called the onion peddler. I recreated her drawing using my own style which is this 2D looking kind of graphics. The subject is quite cute and interesting to create hope you like my version.
Here is how I made my drawing
I drew the shape of what looks like a cap, for me I want my peddler to wear this kind because it is easy to carry and wear. For a busy peddler this would be right
Here you see the head is already done. Quick and fun to make and he is looking quite excited.
I then made his shirt then the green gloves followed by the maroon pants and shoes.
Now the onions. I love how the shape I made is working. The color of the onion also is working just right for my depiction.
The eco bag is quite tricky for me to make. I can not get the shape right even on this last draft it looks unbalanced on the left side.
This challenge as you can tell requires a ton of commitment as it literally involves creating one drawing for a whole year. Never fret if you miss a day or two just try to catch up or start on a day that you can. What matters most is you have fun with no pressure creating.
