Hello, hiver friends! Today is a bright, sunny day, and the weather is incredibly hot. I can feel the heat pressing down on me, but instead of staying inside, I decided to take a walk into town. It’s been a while since I’ve just strolled around leisurely, so I thought it would be nice to enjoy the fresh air. As I was walking, I happened to come across a newly opened Tealive shop, and my eyes lit up when I saw it. Of course, I couldn’t resist stopping by to grab my favorite drink—Bang Bang coffee with boba.
I love how the sweet, creamy taste of the coffee mixes with the chewy, satisfying boba. It’s the perfect treat on such a hot day. After getting my drink, I continued my walk slowly back home, savoring every sip of my iced coffee as I went. As I walked, I couldn’t help but reflect on my younger years. I’m now in my 40s, and I suddenly realized how much I used to walk everywhere back then, even when I had food or drinks in hand. It was a time when having a car wasn’t a luxury for us, and we relied on walking for almost everything. Today, walking around with a drink felt like a return to those simpler times.
It’s funny, but in a way, I felt a bit younger again as I walked through the streets, just enjoying the moment. There’s something nostalgic about those days when we didn’t have the convenience of a car to whisk us from place to place. These days, walking in town feels like a bit of an escape from the usual rush. It’s so much easier now to get around on foot, especially since driving here can be such a hassle. The area is always so busy, and parking is almost impossible to find. If you drive, you can spend forever just searching for a spot, and by the time you do, you’ve wasted so much time. As I walked, a small sense of happiness grew inside me. I was content in my own company, and I couldn’t help but feel that the little moment of “me time” was worth every penny of the two-dollar drink I bought. It might seem small, but those simple joys are often the best.
