Greetings ASEAN Hivers, this weeks' challenge is all about beating the hot weather that often ravages Southeast Asia this time of the year.
🥵 How Do You Beat The Heat? 🌡️
👨💻 Week #105 👩💻
April 15th ➡️ April 22nd, 2024Recently a heat wave swept across Southeast Asia, an for some of us this weather is still lingering around. There are an infinite amount of ways that folks in this part of the world beat the heat, whether it be a simple umbrella or a shady hammock spot, and of course we can never forget to drink enough water. Also recently there was the Theravada Buddhist New Year, a pretty big deal in Southeast Asia, and often a Water Festival is included within the celebrations, another good way to beat the heat.
For this challenge I want you ASEAN Hivers to show me the various ways you beat the heat, and this leaves a lot of room for creativity. At my place there is no aircon, so certain walls are quite hot during the day, and we have to move around accordingly to escape the sun's wrath. Luckily for us the hot season is also the rainy season, so clouds and occasional thunderstorms are natural escapes from the heat. Alright, let's keep moving along and see the winners of last week's challenge.....
Week #104 ASEAN Hive Challenge Winners
👀 See The Signs 🚧
👀 See The Signs 🚧
There are nothing quite like signs to highlight a local area's businesses, destinations and attractions. Once upon a time most signs were hand-painted, but modern signage can still be creative and attractive when done correctly. The following winning posts are worthy of your time if you want to explore them, and I am more than happy to award the extra prizes.
1st Prize 🏆 10% Beneficiary & 150 Ecency Points

I really thought I do not have an entry for this Challenge because I hav'nt snapped any signs lately. Then this afternoon I just tried browsing my gallery then I realized aha I have pictures of Signs not intentionally taken. One of this is the Sign of the floating resto in San Remegio where I experienced my first time to catched the "Bangus fish" or Milkfish in their fish pen, cooked by them and eat the fish for lunch still hot from the grill.
2nd Prize 🥈 6% Beneficiary & 100 Ecency Points

There are lots of sign boards and billboards we seen in the crowded streets just like Cities, Market places and even private walls and camps. As part of this exciting challenge with the theme: SEE THE SIGNS initiated by our Friend @justinparke, I will share some of the sign boards I found here in our place during my travel activities. We all know that sign boards are very helpful to us so that we will be aware of what's inside in the place and we can prepared the things on what we should do.
3rd Prize 🥉 4% Beneficiary & 75 Ecency Points
There were only two entries for this challenge, so I am happily splitting the 3rd Prize rewards equally among our two winners.
