January 25th, 2025Ā Ā Ā This week we are way up in HP due to a sizeable delegation uptick from the one and only @jack.russelle, who was also recently featured as ASEAN Hiver of the Week. He now sits at even 4,000 HP, very impressive, but that's not the only delegation news this week. @rosmadirazali also upped his delegation a bit, continuing his slow but steady increases, now sitting over 1,150 HP.
Ā Ā Ā @putu300 became an official SILVER member after increasing his 50+ HP delegation to 100 HP, leaving behind the BRONZEs for a new life in a new tier. As far as delegations go that about sums it up for this week, but delegations aren't the only thing I ramble about in this curation. My wife and kids are in Phnom Penh dealing with more US Visa bureaucracy shenanigans, and once a broken website leads to more wasted money and time.
Ā Ā Ā I am struggling to keep up with my ASEAN Hive duties and also water our garden, clean the house, mow the grass, cook, deal with visa technical issues online, and many other things I can't even remember right now. I am so excited for our visa nightmare to be over, and at this point I don't even car whether or not we get them because the experience has not been worth it. They've already got our money though, so I guess we just keep going with it. Alright, enough rambling, get scrollin' and see if you're one of the winners this week.......

How The VIP Delegator Raffle Works
Ā Ā Ā Every raffle I tally the total HP delegated to the @asean.hive curation account, and one raffle ticket is allocated for each HP delegated by you ASEAN Hivers (excluding [me] @justinparke, @srey-yuu, @sakana & @sreypov), with a minimum delegation of 50 HP to be eligible for the ASEAN Hive VIP š„ BRONZE Raffle.
Ā Ā Ā There are five separate raffles, one for each VIP tier, and each tier's prize is a post beneficiary status equivalent to the tier's total percentage of raffle tickets allocated. This means the percentages of each tier's share of the prize is fluid, and I think it makes the raffle more fun and fairer.
Ā Ā Ā This week's total effective HP is 190,194, and total delegated HP is 174,787 HP (134,971 HP minus ASEAN team member delegations & delegations under 50 HP), so I plugged the numbers into my Raffle Picker iOS app, selected "pick winners," and the results were instantly and randomly calculated.
