This week's featured ASEAN Hiver is a Malaysian living on the island of Borneo, perhaps the only island in the world shared by three countries. He lives in Miri, very near Brunei, and you can find him often sharing content from this country as well. Did I mention the guy in the thumbnail is not him? I couldn't find any recent images of him on his blog posts, so I used a little AI to help me.
He is actually a drone enthusiast, that's no joke. If your browse his blog you'll see plenty of drone content both on Hive and links to YouTube as well. He's also a foodie, as you can see from the two most recent posts I've shared in this curation. You'll also find cosplay, collectibles, local daytrips, and many more topics within his posts, surely there's something for everyone.
I have only visited Malaysia briefly, but I am a foodie too, and the multi-ethnic makeup of Malaysia makes for some very tasty and diverse cuisine, so I always investigate his culinary outings. From Indian dosa to murtabak and Chinese dumplings, you'll also leave his food posts feeling hungry.
His wife is a big part of his content, and you'll see @janicetan in his posts far more than you see this man. Makes sense I guess, right, she is on the other end of the shots, and also posts occasionally from her own blog. @luueetang has been a member of ASEAN Hive since the early days, and has maintained a generous delegation, genuine engagement, and shared consistent quality content with us. Any Hive community benefits from folks like this greatly, so we all thank him for his contributions.
