GETTING LOST IS EMBARRASSING, but it's not the worst thing that can happen on an otherwise casual hike. These ASEAN Hivers documented their ordeal despite being a little ashamed, but it's awesome that they shared it via a Hive post.

It's uncertain as to whether or not these folks have been self-rescued or found civilization yet, but at least they're using cell phone towers to post and stay in touch. I

A MUSTARD BLOWOUT SALE is going on in Brunei, and this ASEAN Hive couple used baskets to gather as much as possible. The prices are so ridiculously low that people from all over Southeast Asia are coming just to gather a two or three year supply.

Mustard has so many uses, most of them food-related, but when you can get it a 50 cents a bottle you have a deal too hard to refuse. I would certainly take advantage of the prices and have myself a little mustard squirt fight.

BABY MACHINE is not just another name for humans, it's an actual machine in Thailand where you can get a designer baby made just for you. I knew Thailand led the world in ladyboy surgery technology, but this is an astonishing leap.

I wonder if this couple was scouting to buy a baby or just marveling at the machine? Either way I'm certain I've never seen a baby machine in Cambodia, I'd certainly remember it if I had. For details like prices and how you can choose eye color, hair type, etc., you'll have to read the post....

Wow,what a wild ride through the ASEAN Hive this week!The hiking mishap had me on the edge of my seat,that mustard sale is insanely tempting(mustard squirt fight,yes!),and a BABY MACHINE?!Thailand is truly leading the way in innovation.Thanks for another hilarious and informative roundup,@justinparke!Looking forward to #154!

I joined the ASEAN Hive Community a day I get my hive account with such enthusiasm, eager to connect with fellow Filipinos, Asian Brother and Sister and share my passions with the world. I envisioned lively discussions, collaborations, and a supportive network of like-minded individuals. I poured my heart and soul into my posts, sharing my thoughts, my dreams, my experiences, and creative endeavors.

But then came the label: "possible bot account." (HUHUHUHUHUHU) A cold, algorithmic assessment negating my very essence as a hooooman being. It felt like my voice, my unique perspective, was being dismissed as mere code, a manufactured entity devoid of genuine emotion and human connection.

The disappointment was crushing. It felt like my efforts were not only undervalued but also misunderstood. The joy of sharing my thoughts and connecting with others was replaced by a sense of alienation and discouragement.

In the end, I decided to leave the community. The thought of continuing to engage in a space where my authenticity was questioned was simply too painful. It felt like a betrayal (I was betrayed by hoooman and the robot simple adopting me huhuhuhu), a rejection of my very humanity.

Now, I'm left with a lingering sense of sadness, wondering if my voice truly matters, if my contributions are truly valued. But I will not let this experience dampen my spirit. I will continue to find ways to express myself, to connect with others, and to share my unique perspective with the world.

This experience, though painful, has taught me a valuable lesson. The importance of hoooooman connection and the fragility of our online identities. It has also reinforced my belief in the power of authenticity and the importance of finding spaces where we can truly be ourselves, without fear of being labeled or dismissed.
