Hello and welcome back to my blog! I hope you’re having a great day. I’m doing well, just struggling with work at the office, but all is fine.
This evening, after coming home from a busy day at work, I decided to spend some time in our small garden. The kids had already eaten and were busy with their homework inside. My second oldest child had finished his homework earlier, so I let him play his video games for 1 hour because he’s responsible and knows how to manage his time.
While the kids were inside, I worked in the garden, which always needed a little love and care. I started by loosening the soil in some of the vegetable beds. Then, I worked on using the organic soil we got from a palm oil waste site. This soil is full of good nutrients for the plants, but we had to sift through it first to remove any rocks or hard bits that might stop the plants from growing well.
We didn’t get a lot of this soil, but we used it carefully in the places where we planted seeds. We hope that this will help the seeds sprout faster and grow into strong, healthy veggies.
Lately, we haven’t been able to harvest as many vegetables as we’d like. But we’re not giving up! We’ll keep planting more. I even took some pictures of the vegetables today, like spinach and cabbage.
After finishing up in the garden, I watered the plants because it didn’t rain today.
