Beautiful Sunday - Visit My Father In The Cemetery With My Daughter

in #hive-141359yesterday

Merry Christmas Hiverse!

Twenty years ago when my father left me behind. He died in my arms before reaching the hospital. My mother was not around and that day I was shocked last December 27, 2004 Yesterday during his 54rth birthday I decided visit him with my kids. I showed them that the name on the top was their grandfather. They have no longer a grandfather both sides. And the grandmother were also not living in the Philippines.

We offered a prayer to my Papa and asked his guidance to me raising my kids. If he is watching us, I knew he is so happy despite of what situation I have now , at least my daughters are in my side. My kids kept on asking how he died and many question arises. They said how they wish to see him but it happened 20 years ago already.

Before he was buried in the old cemetery and three years ago we paid 1O thousand Philippines money as the old cemetery was already abolished. Thanks God my mother paid it or else it would be thrown like mass grave yard.

Little Present to my Papa

After our visit to the cemetery, my Aunt and me decided eating in the restaurant with cake for my father from my kids.

The kids enjoyed their meal and my Aunt and me were on diet but had a cheat day for my father. My Aunt raising me since I was a little boy because my mother was working from morning to nighttime. My Aunt lived with my mother since she was 9 years old because she is a sickly child before and until now. When Papa died, she became my mother and father.

I miss mama and papa and my wife too the mother of my kids but I accepted the challenge beyond reasonable doubt. Go on and move forward and promise to hit the goal that I want for my kids.

Thanks you @ace108 for #beautifulsunday,#hiveph and @asean.hive community and members for your support.

Father is everything. He gave love for us

Yes and we miss him so badly. He's gone so young.

This is a touching tribute to your father. It's clear how much you miss him, and it's beautiful that you're keeping his memory alive for your children. I'm sure he's watching over you and is proud of the parent you are.
