During pandemic, I preferred staying on the mountain. I was afraid to my health because I had no spleen anyone. I am not allowed going out in a crowded. 2020 was the time, there was already news about the covid in China and I declared it to myself earlier. I did many precaution. I couldn't believe I survived that time. I stayed most of my day in the mountain. My husband came weekly.
It was the time we decided celebrating my birthday with my students and the neighbor there. I wanted to share blessings those people who gave me the best with respect being who I am in their community. My family understood it and we had separated celebration at home that time. It was one of the best memorable time I celebrated my birthday with the tribesmen and women with their children.
Everyday is a blessing for me everytime I woke up in the morning. I was too young when encountered asthma. Maybe, I was 8 years old, I started having this illness. I had no medicine before in my hometown. My parent can't afford to buy medicine for me. They decided to send me in Davao to continue my elementary grade and luckily, I graduated being a teacher. I passed so many hardship about my health. How many times, I felt my almost last breath before for so many times but I survived. I am grateful to my sister, who brought me to the doctor everytime I was sicked and my Aunt who support part of my needs while working at the same time. I was working though my health was bad sometimes.
That's why every year, we always have a thanksgiving celebration of my birthday and one of those celebration I celebrated it with my students in the mountain. At least, I shared with them one of my greatest memories in my workplace. And also my workplace is so special for me, I found the love to someone who care and love me despite of being a sickly person.
There was also a time that he celebrated his birthday with us in the mountain too.
