The first photo is the picture of a coconut sprouts grows here at the Farm. As we arrived here, we've noticed that there's a lot of Coconut sprouts scattered and grows in the place. We decided to gathered it in one place and wait until it grows tall before planting it in the area. Planting lots of coconuts is perfect so that the place can be developed into an agricultural land.
Our farm is abundant with fruit trees just like Jackfruit and guavas. We also have lots of manggo trees here and it already produced manggo fruits last fruit season. We are happy and surprised to see this lots of jackfruits and as for that wrapping it with an empty sacks is better so the fruits cannot be damage by harmful insects like wasps. Approximately there are almost 20 jackfruits here and it will really need time to wrap all of this fruits.
We've started to looked for any coconut fruits in this thick wild grass. We cut some of the wild grass and the coconut fruits we will found will put in one place so that it will become very easy to hauled and sell. We carefully walked in the place so we can avoid stepping those dangerous wild animals like snakes.
The place is need to be clean by removing the wild grass grows here at the farm. It can be very easy to looked for any coconuts falling to the ground and harmful and dangerous animals wont come. Its been a long time since we did not cleaned this entire areas and this will be a great challenge for us here. Most of the grass can be seen here are Called Cogon, the leaves are very sharp and pointed.
Everytime when we visited here, we gathered lots of firewoods and it will be used to cook foods and boiled water. After gathering it, we put in a place that can't be wet by rains just like here in our Coconut drier structures called "Landahan". There are lots of firewoods we already gathered and put here just like this dry coconut palm and branches of a tree.
My Grandma planted this big trees here, it helps the place cool and relaxing and aside of that it can avoid soil erosions. This trees already grows many years already and we really don't want to cut this tress down. Most of the trees that my Grandma planted is Molave and mahogany trees, this are some of the best materials for constructing houses, tables and chairs.
One of the most important crops we always want to plant here are coconuts. We have lots of coconuta here and some of it are producing lots of fruits and it can be harvested by next Month. This tall coconut trees has been grows 29 years already and we keep planting lots of it here at the Farm. Being productive is very important in everyday's life to gain success.
