I've been telling several of my cat-loving friends about this cafe. So, since we hadn't eaten out in a while, Kaye and Yor asked if we might go to this cafe next time. I'm referring to the Miau Cafe, which I've previously blogged about with Jenny. This Cafe was still relatively new at the time.
My friends and I had planned to visit this cafe last Thursday. Jenny and I met in the mall while waiting for Yor to finish his training. Kaye was on her way and insisted on meeting us at the Cafe rather than the mall because it was more convenient for her. While I waited for them, I went to the grocery store and bought some groceries, and take a few walks. Kaye had already arrived as we waited in the taxi waiting area. While she waited for us, she ordered pasta since she was hungry. Things took a bit longer than expected, so Jenny and I had time to discuss her new company and that she was actually excited about it.
After He arrived, we got a cab to the Bonifacio District, where the Cafe is located. We were quite delighted as we approached that location. It took 10 minutes because there was no traffic. Kaye had already finished her meal and was ready to order a drink when we arrived. The place appears to be quiet, which we prefer; there were few customers during our visit, and we spotted cats playing and sleeping. I can see the excitement in their eyes, and they seem to enjoy being the center of attention.
So we decided to order drinks, and while I was ordering my food, the person behind the counter noted a new guideline that they had imposed that I had forgotten about. So he said that if the order totals 250 PHP, I'll have 10 minutes to play with the cat. While the beverages were only 220 PHP, I purchased a cake to make it more than what they needed to play with the kitties. So we had french fries and Kaye and Jenny had the same drinks while Yor always preferred brewed coffee and I had the Caramel Latte iced. Kaye is the most thrilled to be able to play with the cats because she has four of them. We had the opportunity to discuss my job interview and our holiday plans while drinking our coffee and enjoying the cake and french fries.
When we had finished our beverages, we went inside to play with the kitties. We have to pay 10 PHP for the shoe cover, which I don't recall ever paying before. When we got inside, I saw that the number of cats was not the same as when we last visited; they are now fewer. We had a good time with the cats for 10 minutes, and even though I'm allergic to cat fur, I didn't mind because I enjoyed watching them play.
After our time was over, we took some time to freshen up before heading to Jollibee for some chicken joy. lol
