Hello Hivers and have a Blessed Day!
We still had birthdays to celebrate as March was coming to a finish, and thank God for that, since I was invited to take part in the celebration. Ate Rose, a young woman from our church, is the birthday celebrant for today.
Just this morning, I gave our youth, Ate Rose, a call to wish her a happy birthday and to encourage her on her wonderful day with some motivational Bible verses. Thank God for allowing us to celebrate it early through texts because we were all too busy to sing her a morning waltz.
A verse from Psalms 37:4 that states, "Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart," was also shared with her. I told her that no matter what happens in our lives in this world, we should always offer and delight ourselves to God alone, and He will grant us all of our desires in life. As the Bible states in Matthew 6:33, "Seek you first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you," we must seek Him first and foremost.
I was asked to a little birthday celebration that would take place in the evening, along with a few of my Christian brothers and sisters. When I got the invitation to the party, I did everything I needed to do so that when I arrived at their place in the afternoon, I would have nothing to do.
I arrived at their house at 5:30 p.m., escorted by Ate Jicel, one of our church's young leaders. We then helped with the preparation, such as grilling the meat and fish for our dinner. We began our fellowship with the birthday celebrant after a few moments, around 6:39.
Our assembly began with an opening prayer, which was followed by a song of thanks and praise to God. I also had to offer a verse from the Bible that I thought was encouraging. According to Isaiah 46:4, God declares, "Even to your old age and gray hairs, I am he; I am he who will sustain you; I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain and I will rescue you." To the glory of God, I am happy that He allowed me to share a word of inspiration with them.
We've also conveyed many words and wishes to her, and we truly believe that God will give us our pleas. We also asked her how she felt on her birthday, but we weren't expecting her emotional reaction when she discovered how much we had done for her.
It's been almost 8:00 p.m. after our fellow concluded, and now, because we've been hungry, it's finally time for our dinner, but first, we take some photos of our celebrant with her birthday cakes from us and her kuyas with the dishes prepared. We had a great time eating the delicacies and were really filled. We then bond for a while before sleeping over because it's too late in the evening. Above all, we thank and praise God for a successful, modest, but very unforgettable birthday celebration of our beautiful youth in our church.
To God be all the Glory! 😇🙌☝️
