Every Founding anniversary here, there are lots of events and activities to be held depends on the organizers of what events and activities they would like to happen. I decided to went early in the Morning at exactly 6 in the morning when I arrived at the place where the first activities held. 6 in the morning was the schedule of the MTB avalanche race and as I arrived at the place, there are lots of participants who wants to joined the activities. They brought their mountain Bikes and they registered to the booth so they can be a participants to the race. Almost 100 bikers joined, and lots of people are there to watch the exciting activities.
This is the place were the race will be held and it composg with lots of humps and trails. This wide and spacious place is very perfect for the said activities and by next day, motocross will be held here also. This is located at Zone 25 Shamrock Barangay Poblacion Manticao, Misamis Oriental. This is a kind of of open field in fact near at this place is the rice field of Manticao. The Bikers still continued to arrived brought from far places and the soun system are already installed at the racing area.
The medical team and ambulance are already standby ready to response in case if there are any minor accidents happens here. They put tents and portable chairs near at the racing areas while others was very busy taking lots of pictures. It was very lucky day during the event because it was not a sunny day so it will be expected to avoid intense heat. Committees was also very busy to put lots of color flags on each side of the track so the participants can easily identified the right trail of the race.
After that, I've proceed to the next event here in our town and this was the football tournament to be held at one of the Elementary School here in Manticao. This is a perfect place for the event because of the spacious plain ground located inside of the School campus. As I arrived there, the players and organizers was started to put those goal structure like this big metals formed into a rectagular shape. Others put a white paints of the grass so it can easy be seen the right place of the game. The players for this game are also came from other places just like Naawan, Lugait, Iligan and Initao. Our Municipal Mayors was also there witnessing the big event.
Almost hundreds of players joined the event and the medical team also there and standby. It takes a few minutes before the Game was finally started but before that, they also do Prayer and pledging before starting the exciting Game. This is the first day of the different kinds of events here in Manticao in Celebration with the founding , and there are still lot of upcoming events will be held here.
