Lucky for me because during my walking adventure, I've seen my Relatives walking and crossing by the river. I totally imagined that before it reached their place, it needs to cross by this river and walk a few meters away. If this river will having a big flood, surely they cannot pass by here and it needs to walk quitely far in order to crossed the bridge. My relatives always passes in this areas particularly at the river everytime when they went for work. It keeps their time of traveling short because this place is served as a shortcut for them. The water was very clean and I really enjoyed watching the place. It is surrounded with big and tall native trees and some wild plants grows at the cliff. The water level reached up to our knees that is why it needs to lift the edges of our Pants so it wont get wet.
Almost an hour of hiking adventure before we reached my Relatives house. This is my relatives house, it is made of light materials just like round lumbers, bamboo pieces and a coconut leaves used as a rooftop. The floors is made of bamboos and the walls is made up of planks, I am totally amazed of their house, living in a simple and quite place just like is very fun and enjoyable. Aside of that, there are also lots of ornamental plants displayed near at the walls. I was very excited to be at the place when suddenly there was a two dogs and approaching me. I was very nervous that might those dogs bite me but luckily they only wiggled their tales. They lived here 3 years already and their Farm and garden are near at the river, it can easily fetch more water for the plants.
During my visit, my Uncle was very busy doing his work just like chopping those firewoods. They also don't used stove or any hightech kitchen materials, instead they used lots of firewoods. They gathered lots of it specially the dried ones, using his sharp machete, He chopped those dried firewoods into two small and short pieces and placed under the house to avoid of getting wet when the rains occurs. This is what my Uncle's do everyday specially by afternoon.
Their Unique Garden;
Their simple garden is filled with different kinds of vegetables just like camote leaves, Okra, Malunggay plants and string beans plants. This vegetables can help them for their needs and business like selling those vegetables to the supermarket. Watering those plants is very easy because they can fetch lots of water at the river. Aside of that, they didn't used any synthetic fertilizers instead they used organic just like dried leaves, saw dust and animal manure. Those vegetables grows very healthy and some of it are already bears lots of vegetables. I can see how successfully they are in their Garden and Farm.
It takes a few hours of visiting at my Relative's place and I really enjoyed seeing their garden and also their house and the place. After that, I went back to our house and as I crossed the river, I've seen this little boy busy pulling his Carabaos out of the water. This is where they tied their Carabao's rope every day and pulled out every afternoon. Visiting the place full of trees and wild plants and also nice views is very fun and enjoyable.
