I really love traveling in different kinds of place particularly in the coastal areas. This time, I decided to visit the Zone 14 Coastal areas and it is located in Barangay Poblacion Manticao, Misamis Oriental. Thia is my second time to visit here and I found the place very amazing particularly those sceneries. There are many places here in Manticao located near at the coastal areas and some of it are already developed into a Private and Public beach resorts. This place is facing at Iligan de Bay or others called it Panguil bay. There are some stores for clothes and accessories and from Manticao Public Market, we should walk for an hour, but if we ride a public vehicle, it takes only a few minutes. There are lots of houses can be seen near here and some of the residents are fishermen.

This small boats was owned by some of the fishermen here and they set sail to the sea every 5 PM. They cast there nets and wait for many hours before they will started to get the nets again and loaded it in the small boats. This is very important to all people here so that they can catch more fish, crabs and shrimps from the sea water. The boats was coated with different kinds of paint colors so that the owner can easily identified their small boats.

This is one of the newly built beach resort here in Zone 14 and we called it Lonely beach resort. Last Christmas, we decided to do the Christmas party here and that is the first I went in here. The place was contains with many sands and cottages so that visitors can also rest and seat to make them more relaxing.

There is also a part of the place that contains water or we called it swamp. This place can also be found crabs, shells, shrimps and fishes. The people also built this cottage in fact there is a floating cottage before. But as the big waves and winds happens in the place. Those structure was been destroyed.

I really enjoyed sight-seeing in the place and it was very lucky for me because the sky was very clear and it contains a good weather. The place is just like a paradise and even if it is near at the salt water, still there are some trees grows in there. Last time, this place were I'm standing was once a vast grasses and trees but now, the place is completely field with sands and only this tree remain standing at the place.

This place was once filled with many bamboo plants. But as the many years has already passing by, the areas was completely submerge by salt water. The only thing left here is this cut bamboo trees and some of it are already submerge from the water.

This big tree was already been washed out from the mountain through great floods. People will chopped this big tree down to use as firewoods for cooking some foods.

The sea water always keep raising up, and I can see the evidence of raising water because some of the coconut trees started to fall and submerge in the salt water. The roots of coconut trees started to show just like this one. Sands and cliff also reached by the water.

Having a place like this accessable to your home? You are lucky!
Then buy fresh fish! That would be yummy

It is quite far from our home Ma'am @lhes , the most interesting in this place aside of fishing areas is the place were lots of bamboo plants and dry soil found. But as the Great flood happens here, it was completely turned into sea and only this bamboos left. ☺

Thank you for visiting my post Ma'am @lhes .

I've heard great things about the coastal areas of Misamis Oriental! Is Zone 14 easily accessible? Any tips for future visitors?

Zone 14 is easy accessible. It is near at the Provincial road and yes many people visits this place specially during summer season. ☺
