Another day! Another Achievement! Hello Hivers!!! How’s everything today? Anything new? Well, I will share with you what I ended up yesterday. Let’s start to buzz.
After my zumba dance, I had my coffee on the balcony. So many things came into my mind. The list of foodstuffs that I will buy this weekend in the supermarket, the coming of my son and daughter in law on Wednesday and the places to visit while they have their vacation here with us, the content I will write on my blog and these are just the few. After having a coffee, this hits my mind, a picture of banana cake. Oh! my taste bud was craving for it. OMG! It’s been a long time that I haven’t bake and that long time was my 1st time, I tried to baked banana cake but its not a 100% perfect, that’s why I didn’t bake again. LOL
But yesterday, my mind and body were pushing me to do it. I made up my mind to try it again, another experiment! And that excites me. I went straight to the pantry. I checked if I have the ingredients, sadly there’s no evaporated milk, but we have powered milk so it was all good. When I checked the fruit basket, there’s no banana ( my face was frowning) I forgot, my husband ate 1 piece last night and the 3 pieces left he brought it to the office. I almost gave up, but thinking it’s an experiment, I replaced the banana whatever I will find in the pantry. And there you are, a can of peaches. A big smile on my face. I start prepping the ingredients and oh it popped in my mind, I will make this as my content. I grabbed my phone and took pictures. I carefully mix the ingredients while taking photo, each steps for documentation, a multitasked. Here are the ingredients.
Ingredients:
*peach
*sugar
*Powdered milk
*eggs
*All purpose flour
*baking powder
*baking soda
*oil
*vanilla
*walnuts
*raisins
*cashew nuts
How to prepare and bake:

•Mashed the peaches until paste consistency
•Beat the 2 eggs
•½ cup of milk (4 tablespoon of powdered milk mix ½ cup warm water)
•1 teaspoon vanilla
•1 cup white sugar
*1/2 cup oil
Mix until well combined.
Dry ingredients:
*Sift 1 ½ cup all purpose flour
*1 teaspoon baking powder
*1 teaspoon baking soda
Then mixed the dry and wet ingredients
Mixed it well until well combined.
Then pour it into you baking pan or baking foil trays. Add the crushed mixed nuts at the top (optional) or any of your choice.
cooked at electric oven. The top was shiny and lighter in color
cooked at airfryer. The top was a little bit toast and darker in color
I used Airfryer and Electric oven.
Pre-heat the Airfryer and Electric oven for 5 minutes.
Then bake for 18 minutes at 160c – Airfryer
20 minutes at 160c -Electric oven
And that’s it! It's done!
I was a bit anxious what will be the result and thinking it will be good this time. The result? Yehey! I was very happy because it turns out a success. The softness (which I can say it’s perfect this time) the crunch of the mixed nuts and sweetness comes together in perfect harmony. To tell you honestly, as I take my first bite, before I realized it, my body reacts on its own, suddenly I was dancing, LOL. Pure joy because this time I’m satisfied. My baking experiments turns into irresistible dessert. I surprised my husband with this treat. As he take his first bite, I watched his face closely, there’s a silence. Then he uttered, this is amazing! Takes more bite faster as if he can’t get enough. He said, you need to make this again, a lot! I laughed. Proud of myself that this experiment was a sweet success. Two goals achieved yesterday, my baking and a blog content. What a day!
