Hello everyone, how are you? Yesterday, we went at the cheapest grocery shop of Butuan that we call, Wing On Supermarket. These pictures I took are supposedly my entry for @justinepark’s challenge, but it was only yesterday when I had time to go out.
The supermart is spacious because it has many customers than the malls. They wholesale and retail with reasonable prices. This is the best place to haul that small store owners can get a good profit.
There is always a long queue in a cashier, but I was lucky when I paid at the special PWD cashier. The cashiers had allowed me paid my bill even if my paper bill was wet.
In this store, available products are beverages, soaps and shampoo, dairy products and poultry, baby’s needs, distilled water bottle, can and dry goods, cooking materials and pharmacy.
A woman was looking for a biscuit for her baby, like me. I bought here Atleast three bags of my little one’s crackers that only cost 11 pesos since she loves a cheesy biscuit as a snack. Well, it’s the only biscuit that she likes because she likes cheese.
I went in this section to look for my baby’s wipes, oil and diaper. This is my favorite grocery store as they have a good price, plus they are complete. I looked for the old dry goods I used to eat on childhood, and of course, the store didn’t disappoint me.
This is their storage room where the products aren’t opened in the box. Some people who have small stores would haul these boxes.
The floor of the store isn’t all tiled. It is spacious, no AC and crowded, but don’t worry,it is clean. Price is the most reason why it has a lot of customers. This store also refills a huge container of an oil. My friend went with us as she brought her huge gallon. When she went back, it was full of oil. She consumes it for 6 months. Beside of the cashier is the pharmacy. No need to go out just to buy a medicine.
Cashiers wear green. I was lucky that day that they were not too busy. There was a time I filled on the line, but it took almost 20 minutes before my turn to pay.
These are the bags of junkfoods that prices rangers from 10 pesos into 40 pesos per bag. These are my favorites on childhood days. If I bought a piece of this food long time ago, it only costs 1 peso. Nowadays, we can buy 4 pieces for 5 pesos.
This is my niece and my baby’s favorite, a Superstix. Price ranges from 40 pesos to 100 pesos. She picked the chocolate stick. There are other flavor of the sticks availabe to choose such as milk, caramel, pandan, coffee, strawberry and mocha.
After paying, were strayed because it was a spacious grocery store. We thought that it was the right exit. We waited for my big brother to get us as we thought that they went on other places while we were inside, but 20 minutes later, I realized we were on the wrong place .So, we went back at the store to find the entrance door we passed by. I was glad that my big brother was waiting outside with my nephew and my baby. Well, if you’re not from Butuan, you’ll surely lost your way. I’m from Butuan but I just go out when I like to.
