Hello, Asian Hivers!!! And to all the members of this community. I joined this community because I want to make more friends and improve my writing skills and ideas about my daily life. I was greatly encouraged by the stories of other bloggers that I’ve read, which inspired me to join this community. Now, let me introduce myself. I am Dena Tadle, 42 years old, from the beautiful place of Mandaue City, Cebu.
Mandaue City is part of Metro Cebu and is located just north of Cebu. Mandaue is famous for being a “Bridge City”. This is the Bridge that connect to Mactan Island but also because it connects visitors and citizens who come to explore here.
In my free time, I enjoy singing, reading, and spending time with my kids for bonding moments. I also love sewing, and whenever there is an event at my children’s school, I sew their costumes. These are the dresses I made for my child for the school event. This is the first dress I ever sewed for her when she was in daycare. She was so happy wearing it, and she even encouraged me to make more dresses for her.
This is the second dress I sewed, a Philippine flag dress for their United Nations event when she was in kindergarten. She won Best Costume! Her teacher also encouraged them to make or recycle clothes instead of buying new ones.
For her 6th birthday, I made her a special tutu dress, and she was absolutely thrilled! The dress turned out so beautiful, and it made her day even more special. She had two big wishes: a money cake and a party, and we were able to make both come true. Seeing her so happy with everything she dreamed of was the best feeling.
This is the new costume I made for her for the United Nations event, representing Africa. I really put in a lot of effort to make sure her costume looked amazing, so she would stand out from her classmates and have a unique style. So many people complimented her costume during the school parade. As parents, we’ll do anything to make sure our kids look their best at school events. I am very supportive of my kids and play the role of a stage mom.
I am very supportive of my kids and play the role of a stage mom. I am a mother of three children: my eldest is in college, my second-born is in grade 8, and my youngest is in grade 2. I used to work, but when I was pregnant with my third child, my doctor advised me to bed rest because my uterus was weak, and I might miscarry. So, I decided to focus on my kids and opened my restaurant for enjoyment. When the pandemic hit, I found myself in the middle of the online food ordering boom, and that’s when my restaurant and FDTea Milktea business took off. This is my restaurant and milk tea shop. I’m very hands-on when it comes to making the orders for my customers. My son helps me out, and I’ve taught him how to mix and prepare the drinks, in case I’m not around to take care of the orders.
Through my participation in this community and the training I joined, I met Antonette, who encouraged me to join this community and taught me how to do this. Through constant prayer, asking God for guidance, and for a stable job to provide and support my children’s needs. I met the opportunity, and I quickly grabbed it. Thank you, Lord, for guiding us always!!
Thank you for taking the time to read and check out my blogs. I hope we all continue to support each other here as fellow bloggers. I look forward to sharing more updates about my daily life and adventures with you all. Have a great day and enjoy!!!
