Ended The Work Week With A Bang

One of the many firsts i experienced in my new job is their Annual Kick Off event, which was held last Friday. The event started as early as in the morning where booths are set up in the pantry.

They gave out freebies like vitamins, hand sanitizers, brochures, etc. My favorite amongst all of them is the three day pass from Anytime Fitness gym right across our office. I tried their weighing machine where you can see your body mass index (BMI), body age, etc. Thankfully, results were normal and i was even surprise that my body age is 19 years old. haha.

In the afternoon, free snacks were served! I had Potato Corner fries in cheese flavor and The Lemon & Co. lemonade in cucumber flavor.

After work hours, we then transferred to the main venue of the event. Before going in, we took some photos outside. The dress code for the event was white.

This event is especially grand because it kick starts the tone on what the company should achieve for the year. I'm impressed with how the management put a lot of emphasis on growth and expansion. Before going in, we were handed our new IDs too.

Its my first time to try amaretto sour cocktail drink that night. To me, it taste just like a juice. I didn't taste the alcohol in it.

The event ended at around 9pm. My key take away from todays event is from the speech of the CEO where he said that "this year is all about taking more risks." I put it to heart not just at work but also in a personal level. I hope to embody the same courage and leap of faith that our CEO have.

That's it for today's blog. See you in my next one!

Sending some love and light

Love, Jane
