Today is my father's 52nd birthday. I'm actually on my way home while writting this blog. I want to make this day a simple and memorable one for my father.
So, who's the birthday boy?
Mr. Rodrigo Redelosa, my father, was raised and born at Cebu City on February 11, 1970. Raised by her mother, my grandmother who passed away year 2009. He is the cheerful, smiley, kind but loud kind of person.
We sometimes joke him asking why he didn't apply as radio announcer because his voice is so broad and sounded very big. I guess, I got my cheerful personality from him and smiley but not the loud part. Right babe @explorewithsasha 😂😂
He is working as a delivery driver of essential goods right now but he's been a delivery driver from different companies for a decade. That is why if I have a problem with how to locate a specific address in Cebu, he is my go to person. He knows Cebu very well. Even the oldest street and shortcuts. I think he have travelled the whole Cebu for I don't know how many times already.
I have learned loving animals mainly because of him. He's my number one influencer when it comes to being kind to animals. Whenever he see stray cats and animals on the street he feeds them with his baon or lunch. We actually adopted few cats and dogs all strays at home years ago but some of them were already adopted and some died.
When Murphy came in to my life, I really thought he wouldn't like him. I really thought he wouldn't care but I was wrong. He even love Murphy so much more than I do. Am I really the owner?
Our little humble Family
This man here despite of family issues we had before, arguments, misunderstandings, we stayed together as family and this is I think what matters the most for a family oriented like me. I will do everything just for the happiness of my family before my self. Which is why I still have one more birthday gift to him. I bought this one whole pizza from S&R because he verbally requested it to me last week. But that's not it, I still have one more thing to give.
He's a driver but doesn't have his own motorcycle. Sadly because of pandemic and me as the breadwinner, having the most stable income at the moment, I can't just prioritize things aren't really needed. For how many years, I've seen my father commuting during rush hours to go home early and go to work at earliest time so that he won't get caught in traffic and be late at work. Its never really easy to compete with public passengers rushing towards vehicles just to get home even though the bus is already full. I've seen how it can sometimes be dangerous and tiring because me my self have also experienced that when I was in college. Now that I've saved up a little with the help of my HIVE earnings, I'll be buying my father a brandnew motorcycle.
This and my simple celebration to be held at home this coming February 20, 2022 I will be sharing to you on my next part of this blog. A celebration of my parents birthdays since my mother is also turning 54 years old this coming 16th of this month. I'm treating the family with a simple dinner together with my relatives.
I will leave it here hivers. I can't wait to share to you all my father's reaction soon after receiving his first ever motorcycle on my 2nd part of this blog.
"..To my personal go to person, don't worry I won't get married til you and mom get settled. I will stay as your not little but grown up baby girl 😂. Stay being you and stay with us til I get old please. Take care and I love you.." 🤗
