Hey Hivers! Another Blog for this day. It's Friday's new blog to share with you all.
FINALLY! Weekdays are over and more time for some fun days for our kids. They really love weekends.- like my daughter Aya says “IT'S FREEDOM!... hahahaha….
Hmmmm today is just another typical day. Work. work, work, waiting for my shift to end! I know you can relate too, checking the time always and counting how many hours left so FINALLY we can go home. Yahoo….
After work, I sent a message to my daughter. After she finishes her class she needs to go to Babi's apartment. Babi means "Grandma" in Slovak. We were going there because she will give us something. It's just a 5 minute walk to my daughters school and my moms apartment.
When I arrived at my in-laws' apartment I greeted her and give kisses. And my daughter came first because so near to Babi's apartment. She told me I will bring the spare ribs and klobása (which means sausage). I feel so blessed to have generous and loving in laws. They truly care and supported us. Actually we don't need it because we can afford it but she's like that. We all know how moms support their kids and grandkids too. And they know I'm far from my family in the Philippines. They want to make sure that they care, support and love us. It really means a LOT to me.
My mother in law is so generous, always giving us something. Whether it's groceries, treats for the kids and meat, she thinks of us. Same to her other son too.
Last Monday she gave us duck meat. My husband will be cooking tomorrow. And now we have another blessing. I always pray to God for my in-laws' good health and guidance. So they can share their kindness with other people.
When we arrived home, the first thing I did was to get a cup of ice cream. I deserve a little sweet for today. My all time favorite chocolate ice cream. A sweet treat after an exhausting day. Absolutely satisfying.
Hope you have a simple blessing to be Thank for. It's not only material things or money. Thankful that we go home safe and healthy together with our family.
