Happy Sunday Hivers!
As I started my journey in business, I encountered numerous failures that sometimes resulted in the waste of both time and money. However, I have come to understand that these setbacks are an integral part of the learning process. At this point, I find myself truly struggling, similar to a baby learning to walk.
There was a time when I tried a new recipe for the first time; however, the outcome was really not good. At first, I was disappointed because the taste and texture I had in mind were not met. But I realized that I shouldn't feel that way, as everyone has experienced the same. The time I made a mistake was the time I started my adventure. 'It's not an adventure until something goes wrong,' as someone once said. Adventures give life so much excitement. Right?
Instead of viewing failures negatively, I have learned to see them as opportunities for self-growth and continuous improvement. No one can truly understand us better than ourselves. Embracing our own imperfections is a key step toward becoming better.
The first thing I addressed was my mindset, recognizing that everything begins in the mind. A negative mindset can lead to a cascade of negativity in life, much like a domino effect.
I foresaw that challenges would come my way as I embarked on opening a business, and I was prepared for them. Giving up was never really an option. Opening my own snackhouse has been one of my dreams, and now that I've started, there's no turning back.
Pushing and motivating myself are key elements in self-development. I never get tired of learning new things and experiencing failures, as these are the ways to become better.
Thank you for reading and see you on my next blog. Cheers!
