Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. This weekend is the buddhist holidays. Today is asarnha bucha day. And Tomorrow is buddhist lent day. Most Buddhists will go to temples to perform religious ceremony on this day. Including making merit, paying homage to buddha images and monks, pray and listen to the sermon. My family too, yesterday my wife's mother prepared things (Snacks, milk, food, flowers, incense and candles) to make merit and offerings to monks today.
This morning, my family went to the temple early in the morning. Wat Sri Bua Ngoen is the temple of our village and this temple is also the temple of 2 other villages. Many people from the 3 villages gradually go to the temple to participate in religious ceremony. And most people wear white shirts (When color white is used to represent purity).
This morning's religious ceremony begins with making merit and offering things. Pay homage to the buddha image. And finally participate in religious ceremonies in the buddha image hall (viharn) with pray, listen to the sermon and receive blessing from the monks.
These are some of the religious ceremonial atmospheres of asarnha bucha day. And traditions of northern Thailand. Which is inherit northern thai traditions and support buddhism in the next future.
These are the stories and photos I want to share for this post. Invite everyone to see and enjoy my stories and photos. Have a great day. See you next time. Thank you for your support and visiting my post. Bye 🤗
