Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. In this post, I take everyone to see another temple in Chiang Mai. Early this month my wife and I visited a temple in Chiang Mai. We had free time and the opportunity to go to Chiang Dao District again. This time we visited another rural temple among nature. We don't know this temple. But we accidentally saw this temple. This temple is called Wat Ton Phueng. This temple has the same name as the temple in our district (Fang District). But Wat Ton Phueng in Chiang Dao District just received permission to establish it as a temple in AD 2021 or about 4 years ago.
This temple is not along the highway, But the temple is on a rural road 3002. The atmosphere on rural road 3002 in Thung Khao Phuang Subdistrict.
When we arrived at Wat Ton Phueng. We saw a temple sign, this temple sign was made simply.

The temple is surrounded by mountains and has many local villagers' farms. There is a large pond in front of the temple. In addition, there is also a ordination hall (ubosot) in the middle of a large pond, this ordination hall (ubosot) is under construction. And there were two white lion statues on white pillars between the entrance, which had no walls and entrance arch.
There is no beautifully decorated architecture inside this temple. There was only a large building for religious ceremonies. This building is simply built and unadorned.
There is the buddha image pavilions and section containing the monks' living quarters.
And there are many buddha images outdoors.
Finally, most of the area in the temple is a courtyard with trees.
Even though this temple is a simple rural temple, but my wife and I enjoyed the atmosphere more than the beautiful of the temple. And we relaxed with the nature surrounding the temple too.
