Good morning.. to all my ASEAN hive friends, How are you? There is a restaurant that serves good Western food. What are you eating for lunch? I went to eat Western food here in Miri.
This restaurant is called
Romeo and Juliet or RJ for short
This restaurant specializes in Western food such as spaghetti, chicken steak as well as other steak. I ordered something really special here that was my first to try.
If you're on the hunt for a taste of Western cuisine with a touch of elegance, look no further than Romeo and Juliet Restaurant. Charming in its own way, one of the things I noticed is that around the restaurant are plants that are placed all around.
As it was lunch, I was hungry and wanted to eat something. There are lots of different pillows on the sofa. It makes this place homely.
RJ restaurant is located in the new business area of Miri. This area is where lots of new shops are located. These stores all have high ceilings.
The tea pot
Green tea inside. This green tea is special and is used as the soup in a meal.
Salmon rice
The teapot of green tea soup is poured into this rice dish. The only thing is that the amount of rice wasn't enough. I still felt hungry after that.
Ordered a cup of latte
This cup of latte even had coffee art at the top. A leaf. It's great that the restaurant took a bit of time to do this for the customer.
Victorian themed restaurant
There are lots of photo frames with no photos.
Fish and chips
The fish and chips here are different. The fillet used in this meal is of high quality and doesn't come off easily with the fried skin. At a lot of restaurants, the fish fillet is usually fried with cheaper dory fish filet and the fried skin portion usually comes off easily. Thumbs up for this. The sauce used here is tar tar sauce. Then, there is purple cabbage slices.

The food here is amazing and this restaurant is highly recommended if you do drop by to Miri in the future.
