The view of Miri city
Hi hi good morning.. It's a beautiful morning again. Usually, I publish my post around 8:30 am.
A city is like a breathing creature. It grows, it changes and it develops.
There is a place in Miri where you can head up here to Canada Hill which is around 100 meters high in altitude. You can come for a climb and after a climb come to the restaurant that has the view of a lifetime.
Usually, I come here with my wife to do a walk.
The beautiful orange-golden skies. It is a luxury in life to enjoy the view of the evening skies. Usually, around 6 pm here in Miri , in most places around Miri, if you look up in the skies, the sky is slightly golden orange.
The weather radar station is located and tells the weather. It somehow looks quite aesthetically pleasing like an art piece up in the mountain.
The Miri signboard. This is the largest in Miri and you can see the sign from the city beneath. The icon of Miri. On the right is the petroscience museum.
Grand Old Lady
The first oil well of Malaysia was found in the year 1910. This is one of those monuments where many tourists and locals alike come to take pictures.
The evening is usually from my view one of my favorite times in Miri.
Miri city in the evening
As the years pass, I can see the city expanding. More skyscrapers have gone up in the years before 2024. There are a couple more under construction. In another decade, I am very sure that this whole picture will look different.
The best time to look at this is when the sun sets and the whole city turns dark. Lights are switched on and you see the city full of lights.
Miri signboard that you can see from the city area beneath. I think this is the biggest in Malaysia, so if you have a chance , you can drop by to Miri and look at this.
My wife and I. Our shadows. We somehow made another copy of our shadow.
Hope that you enjoy the view. Visit Miri is you have a chance in the future.
Have a great day ahead. A beautiful Sunday.
