Hi hi.. It is currently Tuesday. I am @luueetang and I hope that you doing well today and having a great day. Miri city recently installed a new Hollywood style sign board that can be seen directly from the city below. This board resembles the one that is in Hollywood. I went and recorded a drone shot of the new structure. Hope that you enjoy the video.
MIRI CITY SIGN BOARD
The music that I've placed is Sarawak's very own music that is made from the Sape. This is the Sarawak music that represents Sarawak.

The new icon of the city
Canada hill , the location of the first oil well of Malaysia discovered way back in 1910. There is a petroleum museum that you see on the left in the picture. This structure cost around a million Malaysian ringgit or around a quarter of a million USD.
The grand old lady
The same location. A must visit if you ever visit Miri. There is a hiking trail here. There is a tunnel that was dug by the Japanese somewhere beneath these routes.
The grand old lady
History being enhanced for the present.
This hill is about 200 metres in height. I guess, this structure can also be seen from a plane that passes the skies above. While I was there, I saw a couple of locals as well as some tourist taking photos.
Those little trails below are usually popular hiking routes.
Hiking is a popular activity here in Miri. Fresh air, beautiful trees and now Miri sign board.
Miri city skyline
Many new buildings are under construction as the moment. It is expanding quite rapidly.
Sarawak is 500 kilometres away from Nusantara
Nusantara is the new capital city of Indonesia. The Sarawak government is going to lend a hand in helping built some of the infrastructure there.
In the not so distant future, Borneo will have three important countries; Malaysia, Brunei and Indonesia.
Up high and above
It is amazing to see what the drone sees. Normally, these perspective aren't visible from below.
The best photo taking position would be somewhere below the city with the sign at the back. I saw some spots where the photos taken from beneath can clearly show that sign.
Green forest
It's great that there are still lots of trees here to help absorb carbon dioxide.
I hope that you enjoy the video. Hope that you have a great time.
