Hi hi.. good morning.. my friends.. how has your day been? Let us go and visit one of the recycling centers near my house. Usually, I will try to separate out anything that can be recycled into bags to be recycled later on. I've been doing this for a long long time. I just felt that it was not right to dump everything into landfills.
The nice little plastic bottle artwork on the wall. One of the largest wastes that I can think of that is flooding the rivers and landfills is definitely plastic waste. We use them every day. If I see any paper waste, I will put it in a separate box to bring it to recycling later. Today, I am bringing a bag of aluminum cans to recycle.
So this time which recycling centre am I visiting?
EYE1 Recycling centre
I usually collect lots of aluminum tin. Bring them to recycle here. This workshop is huge.
Some seats.
Here, you can also get second-hand stuff that people do not want anymore but are in good condition.
17 goals to transform the world
Some used tires are painted in different colors and made into plant pots.
The wall of plastic bottles
Arrange all these bottles neatly and you can shade yourself from the sun. I guess, these could be used as building materials.
I brought around 1.6 kg of Aluminium and per KG of Aluminium is around 6 ringgit Malaysian dollars or around 1.50 USD. Can get me a plate of rice at a nearby restaurant?
I guess if everyone started recycling, the world would definitely be a lot cleaner.
Let's make a difference and start recycling. The government of Sarawak is planning to have advance incinerators in the future to burn domestic waste to produce electricity.
