The Sarawak Laksa

in #hive-1413592 months ago

Hi friends. How are you? Has your week started well? It's breakfast again and my favorite time of the day. I am going to T T Food Corner for a bowl of Sarawak Laksa. If you do come to Sarawak, getting a bowl of Laksa is always a good idea.

T T Food Corner

I traveled quite far to get to this food court. This place is almost half an hour from where I live.

Lots of hungry customers here eating breakfast. Huge crowd means that the food has to be great.

The view of the car park. The parking around this area is free. No parking fee needed. This food court is huge.

Lots of fans above to cool down the customers.

A plate of sesame rice " Chu Chang fen" wrapped prawns in sweet soy sauce.

Rice flour batter is poured onto a steamer and once it solidifies, the prawn is placed inside and wrapped. Then cut into smaller pieces. The prawns inside are usually chewy and it is slightly sweet.

The Sarawak Laksa

The best Sarawak Laksa has thick curry gravy. The prawns here have their shells removed. The customer doesn't need to remove those annoying shells. The noodles inside are rice vermicelli which usually soaks up the curry gravy from the laksa. This dish has a slight sour taste.

The best way to eat the Sarawak Laksa is when it is hot. It is not advisable to take away to enjoy the full experience of the Laksa.

The laksa.

A hot bowl of laksa is definitely a dish to have before heading off to do some other important things in the day. Thank you for reading this post. Have a great day.
