Few days ago added year was added to my age. I am grateful to God for giving me another year to live and time to spend with my loved ones.
Since it was my special day, my husband filed for a leave at work so that he could spend the day with me and our children. We had the usual day routine. The children went to school except that I have my husband to assist me in sending and picking up the children from school. Though he always do that when circumstances allows him to do so.
In the aftermoon when two of our children were at school, we went to the salon with our second daughter to have my haircut and a pedicure. It was my plan to have my hair cut short back to my old hairstyle. My daughter also had her haircut. You know children, when their mom had their hair done, they also want one! 😁
I had my toenails colored Red, because Why Not? It's my birthday! 😂
When I was having my pedicure, my husband picked up our eldest.daughter from school and they headed directly to the salon and also had her haircut! 😁 And you won't be surprised when our youngest daughter went out from school she also had her haircut. 😂 All the four of us have our new hairstyles!

We concluded my birthday with a simple dinner in one of our favorite restaurants. Ordered some food that is on budget.
We had our favorite Fried Bangus with Garlic, Tinolang Tangigue (fish), Chopsuey and of course rice! The chopsuey arrived late so I was not able to take a photo of it for I was already busy eating. 😁
That's how my birthday went. I am just grateful to God that despite the challenges in life, we still have a lot to be grateful for. Two of which are my family and my life itself.
Thank you for reaching this far.
Until next time!
xoxo,
Met
