Hunting down for some durians!
Hey I'm back again after a very long, exhausted and busy week.
As I have mentioned before that my durian hunt will be continue and it has finally happen last night.
Finally get hold of some delicious durians here!
Been craving for it for over a year now.Hahaha.
That was a long wait though for a craving.🤭

So we found this place that is selling a few varieties of durians.
If you are a durian lover like me,I can guarantee that you will accidentally spend alot on purchasing durian itself.😂Hahaha..This place gave me a headache in choosing which one I want..too many choices to choose from.Hahaha
The price is good too!
We bought 3 types of durian that is Musang King ,Udang Merah and D4.
So if you have guessed the durian above,yes it is indeed Musang King.
The smell is strong, taste is bold too, creamy sweet and a little touch of bitterness that is not overpowering which is super delicious.Also the flesh texture is soft but has a little crunch in it too.Yummy!
Udang Merah,this is my 2nd time trying this but sadly the other side of the fruit wasn't really fully ripe yet.
But I kinda love this one too.It has a mild creamy sweetness to it with soft flesh.Feels quite refreshing.

This is D4.It's my 1st time trying this breed but this is more like those local durian or durian kampung.
Less creamy,more to the watery side with a mild sweetness but 1st time I'm eating durian kampung that has bruises and majority of the seeds are flat and thin!

Also I do recommend eating this after you have chilled it in the freezer because I have tried a bite straight from the fruit itself it wasn't up to my expectations.😂hahaha
I guessed everything taste better after it was chilled in the fridge.
The Musang King was really worth the buy.So much flesh with thin seeds.
It was only RM38/kg.😍🥹Yes the cheapest one so far.We were feeling super full after eating this. Couldn't finished all the durians so we kept it in the freezer for the next day.
This were the extras.
Then today I've accidentally discovered another way to eat this and it tasted way better.
Yesterday I did remove some seeds out of the Musang King's durian flesh then chilled it overnight in the freezer.
Guessed what today it tasted like ice-cream.
It was creamier than before.I don't know why and how did the taste changed.Perhaps temperature really did some magic on it?Or is it because the seed has been removed?😂
What kind of sorcery is this?🤔hahaha
I guessed I will never ever eat durian without it being chilled or frozen anymore.
The taste was so different ,eating directly from the fruit itself compared to after it was chilled and after it was frozen or I guessed my taste buds just picks up taste a little differently perhaps?
Any durian lovers out there?
What are your thoughts on this?
Do you feel the same too?
