Greetings to you my dear hivers! How are you all doing? Today I'm going to tell you about a dinner I had with my family. My aunt suggested dinner at SM City's Vikings Luxury Buffet. It'll be my second visit, and I'm excited because the last time I was there was four years ago, when I first started college, and now I'm just months away from finishing my degree.
We arrived late, so many people arrived before us, and we had to wait outside for our number to be called because we had no reservations.
They have a 10 + 2 promotion where if you book a table for 12 full-paying people and pay for 10 of them, the other two people can eat for free. They also have a list of accepted payment methods for the promotion, which is available on a daily basis. The rate chart for adults and children can be found on the right side.
Despite the fact that it was already 7 p.m., the buffet had 50 walk-ins (ours was number 51) and 16 reservations. The buffet rates, the 10+2 promo, and the birthday promo can all be found on the left side, starting from the right. To take advantage of the promotion, you'll simply need to bring proof that it's your birthday month.
A Feast From The Sea is the Vikings' logo. I came here with friends the first time, and now I'm here with family.
When it was our turn, we were escorted to our table, which had a place mat that said "Eat like a Viking" on it. You must eat like a seafaring warrior.
It is past 8 p.m. and many people are still coming in, the mall closes at 10 p.m. So, once you've found a seat, get up, search, and fill it up right away.
I was already hungry, and looking for my first bite of food made me even more hungry, as if I wanted to eat whatever was in front of me.
We sat down and began eating. We had two tables because we are a group of 14 people who can't all fit at one table because there are too many of us and too many others, making it difficult to find a seat where we could all sit together.
My second plate consisted of pizza and pasta. It was calling to me earlier when I passed by, as if it wanted to be eaten, so I returned🤣.
There was almost no dessert left, there were a lot of customers, and it was already late, so I don't think they'd want to display any more because I believe we were the last customers they accepted. I was looking for ice cream, but I believe everyone else here did as well. Every time they bring it out, it's gone in a flash. I went home without even a scoop of ice cream☹️.
Nothing much has changed inside. I could still recall the exact locations of my favorite foods from the previous visit, and they were still there. As a result, it was much easier for me to find what I wanted to eat. We left at 9 p.m., so other chairs and tables were set up for closing.
I showed you guys the food display the last time I came, but I couldn't do it this time because it's always empty when I come, and people are eating like Vikings.
