The Philippine-based decentralized micro-blogging platform built on Hive, the D.Buzz app will try its luck for the highly anticipated Shark Tank of Web 3, the Killer Whales TV Show.
Killer Whales is considered the world's first globally broadcasted Web 3 television show which will begin filming in June 2023.
The TV show which has a similarity with the famous Shark Tank show, is produced by Hello Labs and co-produced by CoinMarketCap and AltCoinDaily.
Hello Labs is founded by Paul Caslin, an award-winning and Grammy-nominated director, and producer who previously worked with big names in the music industry like Rihanna and Justin Bieber.
Gaslin even produces shows and performances for the Grammy's, MTV Video Music Awards, and Billboard Awards to name a few.
The entertainment company Hello which was built on blockchain technology was also billed as the Netflix of Web3. Hello aims to produce content and shows that will not only appeal to the crypto audience but also to a wider range of people and mainstream demographics.
How D.Buzz Applied for the Show:
This is how it all started, the co-founder of D.Buzz, Chris Rice (@chrisrice) had a dream, and as he woke up he clearly visualize his dream, to him, as far as he can remember on his dream he told his fellow D.Buzz co-founder Nathan Senn (@nathansenn) to "Buy HELLO."
Chris Rice and His Son Zac at SM Lanang, Davao City
I was with Chris Rice during that time as well as Kenny Owano (@kenny.rogers), one of our close friends here in Davao City, Philippines.
After some time, he could not forget his dream and told us about the "Buy Hello" thing that he could clearly remember. In order to clarify some things about his dream, Chris went online and searched for the term Hello online, and guess what, Hello is a cryptocurrency and they are planning to have a show in Hollywood this coming June 2023.

Chris made some further research about the said Hello cryptocurrency and the Hollywood show titled "Killer Whales" and how it was compared and marketed as the next big thing in the entertainment industry as well as the crypto industry.
The co-founder of D.Buzz then applied for the show to let Nathan be selected as one of the contestants of the Shark Tank-like show featuring various Web 3 and cryptocurrency projects from all around the world and get the chance to be featured in the highly anticipated TV show which will be seen worldwide.
Slightly Forgetting Hello & Focus on Marketing Efforts for Hive:
After the submission was made, Chris Rice slightly forgot about the show and the submission he made and focused on some other things, particularly the guerilla marketing he is doing to promote Hive in the Philippines by booking various shows and engaging for Hive to be visible anywhere in the country.
The D.Buzz visionary co-founder Chris Rice keeps himself busy with the Hive Proposals and the highly anticipated FrolicBlock event in Mati City, Davao Oriental which is expected to gather thousands of people to witness the hottest summer blockchain event in the Philippines this coming June 9, 2023.
FrolicBlock will feature some of the biggest names in the Web 3 space here in the Philippines and abroad, as most people from different parts of the country identified Davao City and Mindanao as the hotbed of Web 3 discussion.
Nathan Senn, the brilliant coder and co-founder of D.Buzz will be given at least 30 minutes to speak in front of thousands of audience in the FrolicBlock event. He is now best known as the face of Hive in the Philippines for his easy-to-understand presentation of Hive.
The D.Buzz co-founder also demonstrated during a previous event in Davao City, how seamless, fee-less, and fast Hive transaction is compared to the other cryptos in the market today.
Going Back to Hello:
For the past few days, Chris seems to forget the Hello thing, and he has been awake for the past few hours due to the migration we are doing right now. We migrated my previous Blogger site with more than 6,000 articles to a self-hosted site on WordPress.
We are doing some SEO research and before Chris lie down and sleep, he checked his e-mail, and viola, the Hello thing seems to appear once again and the adrenaline rush hit us once again because the D.Buzz was posted on the official website of Hello.one as one of the candidate for a chance for a wildcard spot in the Killer Whales show in Hollywood.
We made some deeper research once again on the ways and means to share our excitement with the Hive community and we tweeted a number of tweets as well as made some short-form posts on the Hive blockchain through D.Buzz.
Calling for the Community's Support:
The D.Buzz Team which represents Hive in various ways here in the Philippines wanted to share with the entire Hive community our excitement with the listing of the decentralized micro-blogging platform to Hello's highly anticipated TV Show.
As of now the D.Buzz application is way below the much-needed attention of the Hello community but we're on the right track, the first time I saw a total of 20 votes at around 12:30 AM UTC on May 29, 2023, but at exactly 10:10 AM UTC, the vote slightly improved with a total of 37 votes.
According to the announcement made by Hello, the top-ranked projects on the leaderboard will be eligible to appear on the show as a special "Wildcard" entry. They also noted that holders of at least 1000 HELLO tokens will be able to unlock a daily "Super Vote" worth 10 standard votes.
Hello also stated that every contestant will pitch their crypto and NFT projects to a panel of industry experts judges referred to as "Whales."
The main goal is to receive as many "Swim" (featuring a green colour) votes and as few "Sink" (visible by a red colour) votes as possible from the judges to stand the chance of topping the series leaderboard and being crowned as the winner of the show.
Hello also announced that voting closes June 1st, 2023, so what are you waiting for, VOTE for D.BUZZ to let us show the world how the Hive ecosystem works.
