😎Sunday Surprises, and a Creative Twist on Swedish Meatballs and Mash!
🍖Today marks the seventh day since my wife started her Covid quarantine. I've become accustomed to handling the household chores during this time. Since it's Sunday, I thought of making a 👍special dish for my family. I came across a delightful article by @erikah and tried her recipe for Swedish meatballs and mash🥔. The pictures in the article looked mouthwatering, and the ingredients seemed readily available in any supermarket. However, I couldn't find some items, so I decided to get creative and adapt based on the information in her blog.🍖

🍖Preparation for Cooking Meatballs
To start with the meatballs, I mixed them with 1 tablespoon of paprika until each meatball was coated in the redness of the paprika powder. Desiring a bit of sweetness, I added 3 tablespoons of honey. Lacking an oven, I opted for the microwave, setting it to medium heat for around 15 minutes, and adjusting based on the meatball size.
🍖Sauce Meatballs
After cooking the meatballs, I proceeded to make the sauce. I melted 100g of butter in a pan, stirring slowly for 5 minutes. Then, I added tapioca flour, stirring slowly over low heat. Next, I introduced Carnation creamer for a pleasant aroma, along with seasoning and salt for a sweet and salty flavor. The resulting sauce felt light on the palate, and I poured it over the meatballs.

🍖Preparation for Cooking Mash Potatoes
For the mashed potatoes, I ensured the potatoes were cut into small cubes for easy mashing with butter. After adding milk and salt, I adjusted the taste to my liking, whether leaning towards salty or sweet. Just before serving, I added parsley leaves for an extra burst of aroma and delight.
~With everything prepared, the food is now ready to be enjoyed. Bon appétit!~
🤜🤛🍖The recipe I cooked today was something new for all of us, and it truly brought joy to my family. One thing is for sure, my wife encourages me to cook more often as it brings a smile to her face and brightens her day.😍😎
