My day began like always, with breakfast – cha siu pau and a hot chocolate drink. Then, I started thinking about how much I've paid for my car loan. I just finished the first year, which isn't too bad. Having a car is good, but sometimes not having enough money can stress us out. I can say it would be really tough without transportation, especially in Kuala Lumpur.

Today, I received another poem from my fellow friend, "Master BulBul". It goes like this:
"A tree, after it has reached its fullest height, will start to go down, later fall. For every human - Hair falls, eyes, nose, chin, lips, breasts, penis, muscles droop. What else? In fact, everything. You may say it's aging. In fact, it's due to the pull of Earth's gravity. It spares no one, affecting all things." ~ Master BulBul
One day, I will seek his permission to feature his picture in my article. He has indeed already written a book, but it's not yet popular. I think after this, it will gain more recognition.
~Even an ant knows to share its workload and stay busy until night.~
Then, my wife asked me to cut her hair. I am not a hair stylist, but I have enough skills to make it look good. I do have experience cutting hair with friends from our teenage years. After an hour of hard work, her smile showed that my effort was worth it. Her hair looked great, thanks to my makeshift skills and a lot of love.
Time passed, and it turned into the afternoon. We had a simple lunch of salad and crispy chicken at home, enjoying each other's company without taking any pictures.
We decided to watch something on Disney Plus – Percy Jackson's Adventures, Shang-Chi And the Legend of the Ten Rings. It wasn't just watching a movie; it was a chance to connect with my son. We laughed together, talked, and shared a special moment when he asked, "Are you watching, Dad?" It made me feel close to him, like a precious memory in our father-son bond.
As evening came, the sky turned lavender and then dark. We had dinner, followed by the usual routine. But tonight was different. I felt a strong desire to capture and relive this day. So, I started writing, letting the ink tell the story of December 29th, 2023.
Dear reader, tell me about your holiday stories. Share them, let them be part of the shared experiences and memories. In the stories of others, we find connections that remind us we're not alone in this beautiful, busy dance called life.
