I hope everyone is doing fine wherever you are.
This is our another kind of date, just the two of us. We are used to going out with the kids since we had them but sometimes we spend time just for us two. Our home is located near the city so I requested to walk instead of riding for us to have more time to talk about random things. It was about 6pm when we left and the sky looks like this.
Way back in 2014, when we were just in the typical girlfriend-boyfriend relationship he was always patiently waiting for me even if it is raining. This simple gesture is what makes my heart flutters, specially when he notice the small matters about me. It's been almost 8 years but it feels like yesterday when we were walking in the rainy evening under one umbrella. Time really flies so past that we never imagined how far we walked our path together.
This city is really a busy city specially during weekends there are more vehicles rushing back and forth, maybe some of them are going back home and others are still going to work.
We keep walking hoping to find new food stores to buy some food for our dinner and we found this 'Pizza Dino'. This store is newly open, they even offer some discount for pizza and free chicken for a certain bucket of fried chicken.
Preparation time of our order is about 25-30 minutes so we decided to past-the-time while window shopping nearby. We entered this school and office supply and we found these cute clips and hair ties for our 2 daughters. One thing I like about my partner is he is a thoughtful father, whenever we shop he always found something that he thinks our daughters will like. He keeps saying "I think this will look good for them, we'll buy two.", I ma never experience having a father like him but fortunately my daughters are blessed to have him.
I walked slower than him and quickly took this photo because he will notice that I'm not walking beside him. He is always like that, very attentive to me and our daughters specially when we are walking.
This is one of our city's tourist spot, the cathedral. We once attend a christening here when my partner is one of the godfather of his friend's daughter.
We keep walking and he crave for chicharon and we bought some here. Baliwag's chicharon is really delicious, their packaging was improved and it is more convenient to carry. Their vinegar is delicious too, it is free when you buy chicharon.
Finally, our order is almost ready when we arrived and we sit for a while to get some rest after a long walk. We take more photos because we can't do this when we're with kids.
We bought each bucket for only 419 pesos ($8.04) it's 6 pieces and get 1 piece for free, we got 14 pieces of friend chicken in total. We also tried this wings and fries combo, I chose korean flavor and I made the right choice. It cost us 189 pesos ($3.63), good for two persons. This will be our midnight snack while working late again.
We may not get all the characteristic of a person we prayed for but I guess there is always someone who is really meant for us. Fate will find a way for the two of you to meet, I'm blessed and I'm grateful that he is my man. He is not perfect but he is more than enough. I always thank God for making us strong enough to withstand all the trials we went through together. We are able to keep our family together and we still have healthy relationship and I hope that we can grow old together and be able to take care of our grandchildren in the future.
