My eldest daughter did not go to school today because she does not feel well in the morning. I on the other hand, was having a diarrhea since yesterday night. Both of us did not get anything for breakfast.
I did not go for my GrabFood run today. I do not want to take any chances of blacking out during my ride. So i just rest at home for the whole day today. My wife is on duty taking care of her property event booth.
During the afternoon, I suddenly wanted to eat noodles. The first thing pop up on my mind was the selection of ramen noodles at CU Mart. I asked my eldest daughter if she wanted to follow me to CU Mart.
She said yes, and we went there using my scooter. When we was there, all of the table are full. Since it is only me and my daughter, we sat at the tall bar stool.
After securing our seat, I and my daughter proceed to choose the ramen that we want.

I and my daughter had a hard time choosing what type of ramen for lunch 😅. Most of the ramen were spicy. Some are super spicy. I am currently having diarrhea, so i do not dare to eat a spicy ramen.
After few minutes of browsing for ramen, we decided to get a sesame ramen. This is the least spicy ramen noodle available at the mart. I and my daughter share the ramen.
The ramen cost me MYR 3.50. To my surprise, the aluminium foil is also charged for MYR 1.50. In total, i was charged MYR 5 (approximately around USD 1.2)

My last visit to CU Mart previously, I did notice the ramen cooking machine. I was intrigued to try the machine last time. But we didn't didn't bought any ramen during the last visit.
Today I am able to test out the machine 😁. Using the machine is simple and easy. You just need to place the tin foil on top of the machine platform. Align the tin foil and then choose the type of ramen to cook.
The machine able to cook three types of ramen such as (i) normal ramen, (ii) thick ramen, and lastly (iii) dry ramen. The ramen that I bought was a thick ramen. So I choose thick ramen option and press the start button.
Next step was to add in the ramen seasoning and condiments that is included inside the ramen noodle packet. My daughter told me that she wanted to add in the seasoning, condiments and stir the ramen noodle.
I told her to be extra careful because the water was boiling hot. The cooking process took only 3 minutes. After finished cooking the ramen, my daughter told me that the ramen look plain.
So she ask me to buy a poached egg to add into the ramen noodle. Thinking that it was a good idea, I took a pack of ready to eat poached egg from the fridge. I cracked open the poached egg and add it into the ramen.
The ramen tastes great. My daughter ate most of the ramen. I can only eat just a portion of it. My stomach still not feeling good. Next trip I will try the spicy ramen. Given I'm not having another diarrhea attack 😅
