I love foods except foods with a weird combination, like that sandwich with an avocado. I haven't tried that yet, and I'm not sure if I want to try it. I discovered this sandwich and burger with avocado in some short clip from FB, and they are all enjoying it, they're really loving it, and ever since then, I have been always wondering why that combination? Of course, this is only just my opinion, and yeah, this is just the ignorant me reacting to it, and even though I'm really curious.
It's just that it's new to my eyes, and to be honest, I didn't know that such a combination existed and was good to some people. Like avocado in a burger, which is salty and rich with seasonings? I just can't imagine it, sorry ( ꈍᴗꈍ). But hey, it's not like I'm criticizing it, okay? I really just find it so weird, that's all. I just want to let everyone know. But I'm curious how many of us here find it weird. Or am I the only one?
Anyways, talking about favorite food, even though I can eat different foods, I still have my favorites. And there are some foods that I can only eat during some occasions, just like on Christmas or New Year —ah, and birthdays too. As much as I want to have them all the time, I can't because making them is too expensive. And I always feel like I don't deserve to have those expensive foods, lol. Well, I still indulge myself sometimes, just sometimes. How about you?
Here's one of my favorites. Our version of spaghetti, meaty, saucy, cheesy, and had that sweet and sour taste. I prefer it with a little condensed milk with it, just a little bit, not too much, because too much will make it taste like it is some kind of sweet dessert, lol.
By the way, this spaghetti was made by my little brother. And he prepared it just how we like it. It has ground pork and hatdogs which we love in our spaghetti. Ah, he also put something in it that we don't usually put in our spaghetti, he used bell pepper. I watch some who also put carrots on their spaghetti, I read somewhere that putting carrots on spaghetti is good as it can add sweetness to it. With it you don't have to add sugar anymore. There are really a lot of versions of spaghetti. But I still love Pilipino-style spaghetti, how about you?
And do you know what's the best pair with spaghetti? It's pizza! Yes, they are a good combination, man. And this is why I love pizza too, it's one of my favorites also. I love different flavors of pizza, but I like the meatiest one the most, especially that beef and mushroom.
Spaghetti and pizza are my favorite snacks and breakfast, while this dish here is my favorite "Ulam," or a dish paired with rice. Mommy D calls it Batchoy, but I think some call it "Igado". Mom's version has pork meat and liver, it also has ginger, potato, and red bell pepper. Its taste is a little sour because she put vinegar on it. And this one is seriously the best! And the longer you keep it, the better it will taste. You know, like reheating it and putting it back in the fridge when there's still some leftover. Lol
Another favorite of mine is this "Daing na Bangus." It is actually a fresh milkfish that was cut in the middle and then soaked with soy sauce, calamansi, salt, pepper, and some MSG. It's one of the best too, guys. Some use vinegar instead of calamansi, but we prefer calamansi. After soaking it all day, we'll fry it then, and it will be super crispy, guys. It's good eating it solo, but I still prefer it with rice. I can eat a lot of rice with this. Have you tried this dish before?
Anyways, here's another favorite, a new one added to my list. This is only the second time I had a milk tea, and this one's the best. It is actually a treat from my lil brother. It was before we went back here in Mindoro, he went home that night with a milk tea in his bag from this particular brand. It's Okinawa flavor, according to him, and it has add-ons of coffee jelly and cream cheese. As for the sweetness, it is just right. I really love its creaminess. We have this brand here in our place, so I might check that soon. He knows what flavor to get because he often buys milk tea. Actually, he's the reason why I had my first exoerienve with Milk Tea.
And that's it, I have a lot of favorite foods, so if I were to share them all here, then 3000 words would not be enough. So I shared just those favorites I had recently. How about you? What's your favorite food?
