Hello hiver friends, today I just want share with you our typical morning here in the province :).
As the saying goes, "There's a rainbow always after the rain," which reminds me that there is always hope. Early one morning, around 4 a.m., I woke up to the sound of rain on our roof. The weather invited me to sleep longer, so I stayed in bed for another 10 minutes before finally deciding to get up. It was cold outside, but as a mother, I needed to wake up early to prepare breakfast for my family.
Cooking every day has become part of my routine, and it brings me joy to make meals for my loved ones. When I stepped outside to buy coffee, I noticed a beautiful rainbow. Although the rain was still falling, I took a moment to capture the stunning sight. I still feel a sense of excitement every time I see a rainbow after the rain. I cherish those moments to enjoy its beauty, even if just for a second.
When I was a child, I was told that at the end of the rainbow, there was a pot of gold. Now, I just laugh at that thought as I remember searching for that pot of gold with my siblings whenever we saw a rainbow.
For some people, rain can be a nuisance, especially for those heading to work. I felt that way when I was still employed; whenever it rained, my shoes would get wet, so I often wore slippers to avoid soggy footwear on the way to my workplace. There was also a time when the rain was so heavy that I was soaked before even reaching my job. I only rode a motorcycle, which left me drenched in the downpour.
For breakfast, I cooked corned beef and sautéed beans with cabbage for my family. I sometimes prepare processed foods but like to pair them with healthier dishes.
My breakfast wouldn't be completed without coffee, of course, I'm a coffee lover, and We also ate some bread that is cholesterol-free and rich in fiber. I put some margarine for a better taste, but the bread still tastes good even without the margarine.
I believe that every typical breakfast becomes special when we share it with family, enjoying each moment together. Even if we prepare a simple dish, putting in the effort to make it healthier for our loved ones shows how much we care.
I hope you have a wonderful day ahead also hiver friends, no matter what the season you are now. Just keep on moving and appreciate the little things around you.
Sincerely,
@saijan19
