What do you do on a sad day? What I did Today- let's talk

Friends, Happy Saturday everyone.

Today wasn't a good day for me, I wasn't a bad day at all. Actually I was at home all day today and spent the day a little differently. Because today I am not feeling well for a reason. My younger sister is quite sick but she lives far away, so I can't visit her at the moment. Because of this, I was very upset thinking about my sister all day.

And for this reason, I asked you a question at the beginning of my writing today, that is, what do you do when you are upset? In fact, when we are sad, we don't like normal things anymore, our mind becomes dull in a different way. Even simple things seem very difficult. Times don't want to pass, normal times seem too long.

So I want to know, what do you do when you find yourself in a situation like this? I mean how do you spend the day or how do you try to keep your mind good?

It is an unexpected thing, we are not all of the same mentality nor do we all have the same characteristics of the mind. So maybe you don't do what I do for peace of mind. I may not like what you like to do. Yes, I understand that this may be real and natural, but still I would like to know your feelings or attitude. Because it is blockchain, we can easily share our feelings or emotional states from different locations and exchange our experiences. Exchange information with each other to make experiences more effective.

I like blockchain for this reason, as I can freely present my opinion as well as take the opportunity to improve my position by learning about the experiences of others. It is really a great opportunity for all of us and to improve our mentality.

However, I am making my point clear to you. I couldn't go to office today because my mood changed after hearing the song. So I was at home all day today. I listened to my favorite songs in the morning as I was upset. I listen to my favorite songs again and again, repeat the same songs over and over again, it makes me feel better.

Then during the rest of the day, I kept myself busy in a different way, that is taking care of the plants in our garden, cleaning the weeds, digging the soil, I did all these myself today. Thus I tried to keep myself busy today and try to keep my mind better.

But yes, as good as the mind was by listening to music, the mind was more refreshed and better by working in the home garden and engaging in nature. It is true that being in the midst of nature or keeping yourself connected with nature makes the mind much better and the stress is easily removed.

I have tried to explain my position as well as the question for you. Still I'll wait to hear your experiences. I hope everyone is doing well.

You have to be patient, in patience there must be a best way.
When I'm upset I will take the time to do other things.

Thanks for being authentic. Majority of people whether in internet land or TV or anywhere pretend everything's great cuz that's what sells.

Smoke weed. See what I mean? Authentic. Not everyone appreciates it. Probably can't get your hands on weed but it helps me. Also, although I don't have one presently, pets. Pets are natural stress relievers too.

Thanks for your nice comment, yes, I am also thinking about getting a pet, in this case cats are my first choice. Then maybe I will get a chance to spend some time with him differently.

Thank you for sharing your experience and I hope you feel better. Speedy recovery to your sister too. To answer your question on what I do when I am upset. Well, I would rant for a bit to let the steam off. I pray too. And once I am calmer and to avoid thinking of what's upsetting me, I would make some art, read, or watch something on Netflix or YT.
