Hello everyone from Cambodia, the main focus of today's discussion is about the cats in my neighborhood, who have a family and look for food to feed their kids while my family is having lunch. We talked about what cats mean, how they enjoy having meals on a daily basis.
Afterwards, I'd like to take the time to introduce you to some of my neighbors, whom I'm so grateful for helping me around the house and who I got to know when he was so dedicated to keeping our village clean. Last but not least, the lack of electricity in my town.
Cat's Family 🐈😺
This is a group family of cats coming my neighborhood, they actually walk around here looking for her mother and her mother is here finding food for those her kids. The cats in my village is so strange if I confused they are a family because the skins and the appearance isn't seems a like with each other.
Cambodian cats are often seen enjoying fish, whether it be fried or marinated; when you fry the fish, its aroma is so delicious that cats will catch wind of it and come running, almost like they want to eat your food—but really, just the fish!
I heard those believe the cat who a symbol of bringing luck to each people who especially own a business and this is the Chinese beliefs I have heard from my father side which is my grandma and it passed down until now.
Many people in my village believe that cats can only eat fish bones, but I think they are capable of eating much more. We give them the bone because of tradition, thinking that cats only eat that, but for me it's not really true.
If you give them a piece of fish meat they will enjoy it more than the bone. Personally, I think the belief that cats only eat bones is misguided. In my family, we always feed the cats both with and without bones.
Kindness Neighbors
In the last few weeks, I was going to check my house that I rent for people who are a friend of my dad. I haven't enter the house yet, but seeing my neighbors who live across here , he is so nice and kind that when I see I feel so appreciate and thankful. He carry the tool and clean the front of my house. In front of my house there is a road that many vehicles, so due to vehicles driving by, there's often a lot of mess on the street outside. Thankfully, one of my neighbors helps us out by cleaning it up every single day instead of us.
He said not only today that he clean it was everyday and he even said it was one of the things that he can help because he want the village to all nice clean environment. Let's never forget, when my family first built this house, he was already helping out on an ongoing basis - carrying away trash and delivering any unwanted items to a recycling factory.
He was an invaluable help when it came time for me to build this house, taking care of everything from keeping it tidy to delivering trash away each week.
When It Comes to 7 O'clock
Down on the street 21 A in my town, an electrical issue caused the power to suddenly go out as I was in the middle of working. Everyone in the village was aware that this problem has happened before, so they gathered out front of their houses to talk about it and call the government and power agency to get it quickly solve it, since electricity is such an essential thing.
Tonight it was a full moon in Cambodia, I do not sure if that also a full moon exists in your region. There are no such moon beautiful like today which make me feel like I forget that the electricity is stop working in my village.
