After a trip to Battambang we were on our way to Siem Reap, and after a night of goodish rest we made our way to West Baray.
Sorry I didn't took much picture of the trip on way to Siem Reap. Anyway when we arrived in Siem Reap we sorta just talk and rest while Sam (Joe's boyfriend) went to like a Khun Khmer Club thing and I just watch my phone and hang out with my cousin. I didn't get to meat my older cousin until 8pm since she gotta work. It was great and fun beside some insults from my aunt.
After a good night sleep we went to West Baray and have lunch there. Although I've been there a lot of times but I don't remember it at all, I mean I have some faint memory of the place but not very clear. Anyway the place was kinda far from the city for a city place, I think it was like 5 km away from where we leave which is my cousin's house.
So West Baray is famous for the temple in the middle of the lake but I've never been there. I think in order to get there you have to rent a boat since the lake is very big, I mean it is even bigger than Angkor Wat. West Baray is also famous for the water of course I mean most people go there to have lunch and swim.
So had lunch there and after that we went swimming but I don't know how so I get a life jacket. The life jacket of course cost money but since we rent a lot they gave us a discount. It was fun until the cloud getting cloudy and looks like it was about to have a big rain. So we stop and went home afterward even though we didn't get to enjoy it longer it was still fun.
Me I ride with my cousins, my mom ride with her cousin, and the rest ride with my dad in the tuk-tuk. After a little bit of driving my cousin asked me if we wanted to stop at 7-eleven to get some snacks and drinks, I said yes of course. So that is where we went while everyone already arrived at home. So that's it for the first day.
