Hello everyone 👧
I had been busy working for many months until I did not take proper care of my pets at home. Recently, I lost Pungut, one of my male pet cats at home.
5 years ago, where my Brother worked as a technician for a self service laundry shop, he found a less than 6 month old orange cat inside a box during his work. He couldn't ignore the cute stare from this cat and asked my Mum whether he could bring this cat home via video calling. My Mum told my Brother to ask me as I'm the major financial provider to feed the pets at home. At first I rejected it as I already feeding 8 pets (cats and dogs) at that time. However, it's kind of cruel to abandon this orange cat that is desperately looking at my Brother. As a result, I just gave a green light to my Brother to bring the cat home. It was me who named this cat as Pungut. In Malay language Pungut means pick up.
Since my Brother had been working outside at Peninsular Malaysia for over 2 years, there is less one person love for my pets at home especially for Pungut. There are many attempts Pungut escaped from home and eventually returning home after missing for one or two days. As of last month, we lost Pungut totally.
Even though we lost Pungut, I know where he is and am able to look at him everyday. Pungut just did not want to return to our home and stayed at my neighbor's house. I planned to retrieve him from my neighbor, but I did not do so. I saw Pungut had been taken care of very well by my neighbor. Additionally, I assume Pungut has been adopted by my neighbor as new owner.
As you can see from the above GIF, my dog, Uku Chan barks at my neighbor's house when he sees Pungut there. That time when I'm in present, Uku Chan looks at me, as if giving me a signal to ask me to bring Pungut back to our home. This action of Uku Chan is very cute and a bit sad for him to lose a pet friend's at home. I also convinced Uku Chan to inform him that Pungut already belongs to neighbor.
I'm sad as well that I'm losing a cat. I don't mind knowing Pungut is happier staying at my neighbor's house if that makes him feel better. Rather than Pungut staying at my home, where my family and I have to divide our love for many pets, I would rather Pungut be taken care of by my neighbor. Pungut is the only cat at my neighbor's house. He will get more love and attention from them there.
That's all. Thanks for reading my post 😄.
