If there's one thing Bantayan Island is famous for, it's white-sand beaches. I really loved the relaxing ambiance on the island.
I also liked that the restaurants are walking distance from each other and there's plenty of choices, so if you want to eat your heart out or have a little drink after a day of touring, you can do so.
Overall, this is a fantastic place to visit in Cebu, especially if you want to relax and unwind. It's a bit out of the way from Cebu City, but once there, you can opt to indulge yourself with a beachfront home, eat fresh seafood (unlimited scallops), and enjoy cocktails at night.

A vast mangrove refuge that is perfect for wildlife enthusiasts. You can explore the vast area by walking across a bamboo trail. This is also where you'll locate Camp Sawi signs, which is a must-see photo opportunity on Bantayan Island. Camp Wagi is also available for individuals who enjoy unneeded drama. High tide is the greatest time to visit here. The admission price is P50 each person.
There are numerous restaurants in Sta. Fe town proper, which serves both local and international cuisines like as American, Thai, Japanese, and Korean. Many of these are within walking distance of one another, making it simple to decide where to eat. MJ Square, a one-stop food park with a variety of restaurants and bars, is a popular dining destination. Panyang Restaurant is a local favorite that serves buffets (normal buffet P150(2.75 USD) per person, seafood buffet P299(5.48 USD) per person). We haven't tasted it yet, but it has varied reviews- so far, our understanding is that it's worth it , but you get what you pay for.
Most people visit Bantayan Island for a day trip, but I recommend staying at least 2-3 days or more to fully experience it. I also recommend leaving Cebu City as soon as possible because the island is only a few hours away. If you're a frequent traveler like me, I recommend taking a tricycle tour instead because it's more comfortable and there's a slight price difference. You'll also be assisting the island's local drivers. It's simple to get accommodation on Bantayan Island, as there are various lodging and beach resorts. Budget accommodations start at P500-600(9.17 - 11.01 USD) and go up to P1000(18.34 USD) and higher.
