From Barangay Poblacion Manticao, it needs to travel at about almost 2 hours depends on how the road traffic goes on. Riding in a popular vehicle just like Tuk-Tuk is fun and comfortable. We started to wait a vacant passenger vehicle around 8 in the morning we traveled and finally arrived at 10:25 in the morning.
This part of blog I've created is also a travel tour at the place so that everyone can see how beautiful and relaxing the park is. As we arrived at the Nature Park, I've noticed that those under constructed structures and cottages I've seen the first time I went here was already finished. This is the first area in the Park and it is located near at the entrance area. There are lots of cottages and a ballesters that serve as a fence so that visitors will be safe walking at the place. There are also lots of concrete pathways with big trees and ornamental plants grows and planted at the area. It keeps the park cool and relaxing always plus to have a great and wonderful views because of the greenery place brought by Nature. There are lots of round lumber fences everywhere because most of the parts in this place is a cliff.
Tables and chairs in every cottages are made of native and hard wood materials just like Molave and Mahogany trees. To make it more attractive and shinny, they decided to painted and coated with Mahogany varnish so it will become shinny, glossy and turn to red color. This can also prevent of being rotted because of water and rain. Each cottages contains a fence coated with red paint to make it attractive and colorful.
People wants to feel and get bathed in the water here at the Park, as for that it can be abled to swim and have fun here at this crystal clear and cold water. This is not a pool and the water always keep flowing comes from the mountain top. The water beds are already concreted and lots of peebles and big rocks can be seen at the place. Children will really have a good time swimming here and beat the summer season. It is also perfect spot for a swim because the heat of the sun can't directly get into the water or in the areas because of the tall and big trees grows. The water comes from here will flow down to the stream and going to the river located here in the Municipality.
This Nature park is free to all people who will visit the place specially the entrance and Cottage. But there are lots of Rules and regulations at the place just like Garbage segregation. I was very amazed of the place because of the great views and keeps developing into a good tourists spot destination. The Nature is not destroyed but they added some unique structures so that people will really enjoyed exploring the Place. If you want to Visit Mindanao, try to visit Naawan, Misamis Oriental and you will have a good time exploring the Gift of Nature.
