LONDI LAUNDRY: A Quick Solution for Washing Clothes While Traveling

When travelling for days on end, let alone changing cities three times, one of the things that becomes a problem is dirty clothes. Especially when travelling during the rainy season, it's a hassle. We have to prepare a lot of clothes to change into, however, since I only plan to bring one rannsel, I have to organise my clothes so that they are not too full for the next one week. In the end, the only thing I could manage was to find an express laundry or one that could finish my dirty clothes in less than five hours.

The last city I visited was Semarang, before travelling to Jakarta in the evening, I deliberately looked for an express laundry that could wash all my clothes. Because I wanted to go home with all my clothes clean.

I finally found a laundry that was self-service. They prepare dozens of washing machines for customers to use. We only need to come there, weigh the weight of the dirty clothes to be washed, then the counter guard will direct us how much to pay.

After that, I went straight to the empty washing machine to put in all my dirty clothes and start the washing process. At first, I had to scan the qris code on each machine, then the machine would spin automatically.

For almost 30 minutes, my clothes were ground in the machine, and the counter guard would add soap and perfume to the customer's washing machine. After 30 minutes, the clothes were moved to the drying machine above each washing machine. There is also a charge for drying. The method is the same, just scan the qris code, then our clothes will be dried automatically.

According to the counter guard, my clothes took about 30 minutes to dry completely. The place has a comfortable waiting room, where some customers even do their homework or perhaps work remotely while waiting for their laundry to finish. Because the waiting room has a section equipped with power outlets, those who need to charge their phones can relax here. The waiting room is also fully air-conditioned, so customers will feel comfortable.

After finishing, I took out my clothes and brought them to the table designated for folding clothes. The table is sprayed with a soft-smelling laundry deodoriser. In just an hour, my clothes were neat and ready to be put back into my rucksack. How happy I was.
