Ayam Taliwang is a speciality of Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. I know because I've been to Lombok, where the speciality is this taliwang chicken. Because I was very hungry, I ordered a portion of Taliwang grilled chicken which was equipped with vegetables in the form of anointing, vegetables in the form of raw vegetables: cucumber and lettuce leaves, rice, and tempe bacam. I added tomato chilli sauce which can be taken as much as you like.
If you look at the original recipe, taliwang seasoning is identical to the spicy flavour that kicks in the tongue, but, whether because this is just an adaptation or spicy can be diadjust, for me this has no spicy taste at all, if you want a lot of spices, this talliwang grilled chicken from Mbok Sutil is my recommendation.
Actually, there are many menu options provided there such as: pepes tahu, tofu and tempe goreng flour, delicious eggplant balado, stir-fried peanuts and bean sprouts, as well as other fried foods such as: mozarela risoles, cakes, and others.
For a complete portion like mine, it only costs 30,000 rupiah. I think it's a cheap price for the size of the tourist area.
For the drinks, I bought a fresh mojito, while Vivi bought a refreshing iced lemon. Our energy was restored after one poorsi ayam bakar taliwang which was filling and delicious.
